Seven cops kidnapped from Bannu

PESHAWAR: Seven policemen were kidnapped along with their weapons from the Rocha post in the Ahmadzai sub-division of the Bannu district on Monday.
Sources said armed men attacked the remote Rocha post in Bannu and kidnapped seven cops deployed there along with the weapons they were carrying. A senior police official confirmed the incident.
Heavy contingents of police were rushed to the area and a search operation was launched. There was, however, no clue to the kidnapped cops till late Monday night.The missing policemen were identified as Saleem, Aqal Rahman, Mewa Jan, Roshan, Abdul Malik, Naematullah and Shala Mohammad.
