Two killed in Swat jirga firing

MINGORA: Two people were killed and a woman sustained injures in a firing incident during a jirga at Islampur locality here on Sunday.
The police said the jirga was taking place to resolve a domestic issue when the accused identified as Shaukat allegedly opened fire during the gathering.
The firing resulted in the deaths of Sarfaraz Umar and Imran Umar, residents of Islampur. A woman was injured in the firing. Rescue teams rushed to the spot to provide first aid to the injured woman before transporting her to the Saidu Sharif Hospital.
