PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday extended the protective bail to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur till December 17 and asked the government to furnish the details of cases instituted against him.
A two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah heard the petition filed to know the exact number of cases filed against the chief minister.
Alam Khan Adenzai Advocate represented Gandapur. Additional Advocate General Inam Yousafzai appeared for KP while the federation was represented by Additional Attorney General Sanaullah.
The counsel for the chief minister said that his client had filed a petition to know the details of the cases but neither the federation nor other provinces had responded to the plea.
The additional attorney general said he had contacted the Home Ministry and the reply would be submitted in three weeks.
