Nadir, Talha cruise into singles semis

ISLAMABAD: Nadir Mirza and Muhammad Talha Khan checked into the semis of boys’ singles in the ITF Pakistan J30 Ali Embroidery World Junior Tennis Championships underway here at the PTF Complex.
Talha defeated Park Dohyun of Korea in a thrilling three-set match 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. In another quarter-final, Nadir overpowered Teetawat of Thailand putting up an impressive show 6-1, 3-6, 6-1.
Haider Ali Rizwan & Abubakar Talha (PAK) beat Aahil Khalil (SRI) & Louis Eliah Kense ( GER) 6-4, 6-3 in the boys’ doubles semi-final and qualified for the final. In second semi-final, Bilal Asim & Ahmad Nael Qureshi (PAK) won against Xiuyuan Guo (CHN) & Ho Jun Park (KOR) 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 and qualified for the final.
