Hamza advances to pre-quarterfinals in Niort Venise Verte

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Hamza Khan moved into the pre-quarterfinals of the $15000 Niort Venise Verte in France on Wednesday.

The 9/16 seed Hamza defeated wildcard Laouenen Loaec from France 11-4, 11-7, 7-11, 11-7 in 40 minutes in the first round. Now, he will face fifth seed Owain Taylor from Wales in the second round.
