KWSC’s monthly revenue rises to Rs1.86bn
The new management under the supervision of the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has unveiled a new milestone by increasing its monthly revenue by 65 percent, taking it beyond Rs1.86 billion —an unprecedented figure in the corporation’s history.
According to KWSC’s spokesperson, the revenue in September 2022, prior to CEO Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed’s tenure, was only Rs1.1 billion. The remarkable increase to Rs1.86 billion reflects the corporation’s success in implementing effective strategies, modern reforms, and the hard work of all officers and employees under the new administration.
CEO Ahmed expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the entire team in achieving this record revenue. He emphasized that this growth would benefit not only the corporation but also its employees and the city’s residents.
