KARACHI: Fayyazur Rehman won the 1st All Karachi Men’s Open Badminton Championship, defeating Syed Imran Ali in the final by 21-14 and 21–12. Fayyaz was awarded Rs30,000 cash prize.
Imran was awarded Rs18,000. The Badminton championship was organised at Anu Bhai Sports Complex in Nazimabad. The Doctors Badminton Academy organised the championship.In semifinals, Fayyaz had beaten Shahood Khalid 21-15, 13-21 and 21-14.In the second semifinal, Imran had beaten Usman Ahmed 21-18 and 21-13.
