‘Govt to receive Haj dues in three installments’
Applicants would deposit Rs200,000 while remaining dues would collected in two installments: Resources
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to receive Haj dues from intending pilgrims in three installments.
According to sources, the applicants would deposit Rs200,000 along with the application while remaining dues would collected in two equal installments, after balloting and then in second week of February. The scheduled banks would start receiving applications under government regular Haj scheme, in middle of this bank.
Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain who is currently abroad will announce Haj Policy 2025, next week.
People with severe heart, liver and lungs diseases and those suffering from neorological and psychological complications would not be allowed to travel for Haj.
Moreover, women with seven months pregnancy and individuals suffering from influenza, magentitis, Covid and polio would also not be allowed to proceed for performance of Haj.
