PU exams after Eid

On the direction of Deputy Secretary (Universities) HED Government of the Punjab, the Registrar University of Punjab has notified that all the External and BS (4-Year) Examinations to be held/conducted in sub-campuses and affiliated colleges will be rescheduled after Ramazan/Eid Holidays.

Meanwhile, Punjab University has issued notification of office timings during the month of Ramazan. The PU will remain open from 8am to 2pm (Monday to Thursday) while 8am to 12noon on Friday. While the University Health Centre and the essential services of Resident Office-I, Resident Office-II, Engineering Branch and Executive Club will observe the office timings from 8am to 1pm (All week days except Friday) while 8am to 12noon on Friday during the holy month.

workshop: Punjab University’s Institute of Agricultural Science (IAGS) organised a two-day national workshop on “Food Safety Internship Programme”.  According to a press release, the workshop was attended by Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider, faculty members and students.  In his address, Dr Saleem said main objective of workshop was to build new professionals' competency level on food safety system through industry exposure for career building with food industry. He said the exposure would be helpful for students to become food safety professional for food/packaging industry and improve their employment opportunities.
