Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has distributed more than Rs90 million among students enrolled in Industry Demand Driven (IDD) short courses.
According to a press release, this amount is being distributed through a phone company so that youths under training may get their required stipend in a transparent way. The 4th phase of industry demand driven courses is being started from ongoing month, Tevta Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said while addressing a meeting at Tevta secretariat here on Thursday to review the progress of 3rd phase of demand driven short courses.
