Rawalpindi : Rawalpindi citizens continued to be looted as a family deprived of ornaments worth of Rs8 million, cash, prize bonds, laptops and mobile phones. According to details one Muhammad Hassan Khan a resident of a private housing society at Chakri Road visited northern areas with his family from October 20 to 26. On the evening of October 26 when he came back the doors of his house were found broken and thieves had stolen 20 tola gold ornaments, laptop, three iphone, one tab, Rs80,000 cash and 1000 US dollars. According to family, they immediately informed at 15 emergency police complaint. After 3 hours the police from Dhamiyal police station came and collected the evidences and registered a case at late night. But after passage of a week there is no sign of investigation. “I went to Khuli Kutuchry of CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani on Thursday and pleaded that I must be given the justice as the police was not cooperating and reluctant to investigate the matter, Hassan Khan said.
It is pertinent to mention that the incident happened just close to the main gate of the society where the security guards remain present day and night but they are also not cooperating in this regard and also not providing the CCTV footage.
