PM orders live coverage of bidding process
Cabinet Division has asked all ministries and divisions to ensure implementation of PM's directives
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to show the bidding process live on media to ensure transparency in the important process.
The Cabinet Division OM states the prime minister has directed to ensure high standards of transparency in the bidding process of government transactions in federal ministries, divisions, autonomous institutions, state-owned enterprises and other federal entities. The memo directed all the international competitive bids and bids of privatisation and public-private partnership should be shown live on the media. The bids related to domestic procurement and outsourcing should also be given live coverage.
