226 properties sealed in LDA operation
LAHORE:Lahore Development Authority (LDA) teams, on the directions of LDA DG Tahir Farooq, have sealed 226 properties during operations against illegal commercial buildings and defaulters of commercial fees in various areas here on Monday.
Chief Town Planner-I Asad Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation. During the operation, Lahore Development Authority teams sealed properties in Wapda Town, Johar Town, Jubilee Town, Canal Road, Sabzazar, Township and Gulshan Ravi schemes and other areas.
Lahore Development Authorityteams sealed 50 properties on Wapda Town Main Boulevard, 40 in Jubilee Town, 50 on Madr-e-Millat Road, Township, 25 in Johar Town, 30 on Canal Road, 21 in Sabzazar and 10 properties in Gulshan Ravi.
The sealed properties included grocery stores, bakeries, banks, showrooms, private schools, academies, pharmacies, shops, cafes, restaurants, well-known brands, electronic stores, workshops, and others. Several notices were issued to these properties prior to the operation.
