Fake peer, accomplice rape girl

LAHORE: A girl suffering from psychological problems was allegedly gang-raped by a fake peer who claimed to counter black magic in the Shad Bagh area.

According to the FIR registered at the local police station, the accused, Javed, had put up banners in Shad Bagh advertising his services to counter black magic. After seeing the banners, the victim’s family contacted him for treatment. Javed began visiting the family’s home to conduct rituals, claiming that he would help to heal the girl. Over the course of several days, he continued to visit, often accompanied by his accomplice, Asghar, and Asghar’s wife. During this time, Javed and his accomplice allegedly raped the girl. A case was registered against Javed and his accomplice.
