Sindh to take on Islamabad in PSB U17 final today

KARACHI: Sindh and Islamabad on Monday blasted their way into the final of the PSB Inter-Provincial Under-17 Football Championship which is under way at the City Park Ground in Gilgit.

The final will be played on Tuesday (today) at 3pm.

In the first semi-final, Islamabad defeated Balochistan 4-3 on penalties after the game ended in a goalless draw in the regulation time.

Usama Naeem, Roohullah, Hasan Shireen and Nofil scored one goal each for Islamabad, while Naveed, Gulzar and Sultan netted for Balochistan.

In the second semi-final, Sindh beat Gilgit Baltistan 4-3 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in the scheduled time. Saeed, Shaharyar and Junaid scored one goal each for the winners. Shahsawar Murtaza and Asim Shah landed one goal apiece for Gilgit Baltistan.  GB will face Balochistan for the third place play-off today at 1 pm.
