Russia-Pakistan to increase exports

KARACHI: Interaction between business community of Pakistan and Russia will help in increasing local exports to the Eurasian country, said SM Muneer, chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (Tdap).
Muneer was a leading a delegation to Russia, a statement said on Monday. He met with the office bearers of Bashkortoartan chamber of commerce and industry.
CE Tdap said Russia is the 5th largest economy and 26th largest buyer whereas Pakistan exports to Russia is only $187 million, “but this country having big potential can be a good destination for Pakistani products.”
The delegation was the second of the series after the Prime Minister and the commerce ministry decided to focus on increasing bilateral trade with Russia.
