Strict security in place for Dr Zakir Naik

LAHORE: Strict security arrangements were made in the provincial capital on the arrival of renowned religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik.

DIG Operations M Faisal Kamran visited the guest’s routes and residence. He also reviewed the security arrangements around the Jamia Masjid Ahl-e-Hadith on Ravi Road and its surroundings.

Faisal said that Dr Zakir is a guest of Pakistan and is being provided with state guest-level security. Elite Force commanders, along with a large number of police personnel, have been deployed for his security. He further stated that full security would be provided for Dr Zakir’s all programmes in Lahore.
