Road accident claims six lives

TANK: Six people, including women and children, were killed and one child sustained injuries when a car met an accident near the Khargai checkpost on the Tank-Waziristan Road.

It was learnt that the car, carrying the family members of Dost Muhammad Mahsud, was on its way from South Waziristan to Tank district when the accident occurred. Police officials said that the driver lost control over the steering while negotiating a sharp turn and the vehicle fell into the gorge. As a result, six persons, including three women, two children and a man died on the spot.
