LAHORE:Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that more than 45,000 applications have been received so far for Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme. “Out of this aggregate, 9,284 male and female students have qualified for this unique programme”.
He said this while addressing a meeting regarding Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme at Punjab Stadium on Wednesday. PITB DG Sajid Latif, Additional Secretary Farhan Farooq, Chief Digital Officer of Bank of Punjab Nofal Dawood, Head of Branches Adnan Saleem, Ahmed from PITB and other officials participated in the meeting.
Several important decisions were taken in the meeting regarding the affairs and arrangements of Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme. Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the applications will be received till September 30. “The beneficiaries of this programme will play a key role in the development of the country”.
He said that through the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme, 25 thousand fresh graduates will be given Rs 25 thousand per month for a period of six months. “Definitely, this is the best initiative of Chief Minister Punjab to end unemployment in the Punjab province”.
Sial further said that the youth who will benefit from this programme will play an important role in the progress of Pakistan. “Young people from top universities of Punjab are applying for Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme”.
