‘Conspiracies from eastern, western borders being thwarted’
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday said Pakistan is in safe hands, adding that conspiracies from the eastern and western borders are being thwarted. He also asked people to follow the example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by practising tolerance, forgiveness and honesty.
After leading the Eid Miladun Nabi procession at New Memon Masjid, Shah said during a media talk that conspiracies are under way from both eastern and western borders to destabilise Pakistan, but the country is in safe hands, and all such intrigues would be stopped to lead the nation toward development and prosperity.
He congratulated Muslims on the birthday of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), saying that his birth marked the beginning of a new era, providing a complete guide for living a life of respect, decency and purity, promoting coexistence without any discrimination.
The CM emphasised the significance of the occasion, and the government’s efforts to ensure peaceful and successful celebrations. He said the government has made foolproof security arrangements. He thanked the Ulema of different schools of thought for demonstrating unity and harmony during 12th Rabiul Awwal programmes.
He lauded the efforts and arrangements of the Sindh police for these programmes. He urged the people to follow the example of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by practising tolerance, forgiveness, honesty and high moral character, and showing respect and affection for elders and children, as well as promoting co-existence in everyday life.
Shah also said Palestinians and Kashmiris are enduring tyrannical and barbaric conditions. He hoped that Allah would empower Muslim nations to liberate them from oppression. He said that certain internal elements are attempting to undermine national unity by spreading false and fabricated narratives. He, however, expressed confidence that the people are aware of such elements.
