Warrants for stage actor

The Guardian Judge Uzma Tabbasum on Thursday again issued arrest warrant for stage actor Tariq Taidi facing a suit filed by his wife seeking maintenance charges for children.

The court has directed authorities concerned to arrest the actor and produce him before the court by June 7. It is pertinent to mention here that the previously court had issued arrest warrants for actor but he did not appear before the court.  As per details, Asima Riaz, wife of Tariq Taidi, had filed the suit submitting that her husband was a famous stage actor but he was not giving maintenance charges for children. She said she was living at her parents’ home for last many months. She stated that Tariq Taidi was asked many times for the maintenance but he ignored. He prayed the court to order her husband to pay her maintenance charges.

transfer case: The Lahore High Court on Thursday issued notice to federal government on a petition of Accountant General Punjab Zafar Hasan Raza challenging his transfer. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of the LHC directed the federal government for reply till May 30. The petitioner submitted that Auditor General of Pakistan had transferred him and posted as member finance in Economic Energy Commission without having authority to do so. He said according to the law, any officer of or above grade 21 can only be transferred after approval from prime minister. He added that the post of member finance is of grade 22 and an officer of grade 21 also cannot be posted on it.
