Occupied DC
This letter refers to the news report ‘Time to end war’ but Harris says will not withhold weapons to Israel’ (August 30, 2024). This is a superb example of diplomacy sans conscience. This duplicitous stance is obviously meant to win votes from supporters of both Israelis and Palestinians, while betraying the latter. After all, it is common knowledge that the US presidential administration and Congress have also been conquered by the rich, pro-Israel lobbies and have become Israeli-occupied territories, very much like Gaza and the West Bank.
In another move, the US has very kindly offered help to Pakistan in defeating the TTP which, together with other terrorist outfits in the region, has emerged as a result of US intervention in Afghanistan. However, we would much prefer if the US stopped immoral diplomatic support and free supply of massive quantities of ammunition and war machines to Israel to conduct massacres of Palestinians.
