Sit-in ends in Upper South Waziristan

SPINKAI: The protest sit-in at the Faqir Market of Sarwakai subdivision in Upper South Waziristan came to an end on Friday after the administration accepted the demands of the protesters.
The members of various political parties had launched the protest four days back to press for acceptance of their demands.The demands included stopping drone camera movements in the area, ensuring peace and no use of heavy firearms.
The administration and the security forces officials held talks with the four-member committee constituted by the protesters. The demands were accepted. An agreement was drafted which was signed by the officials as well.
