Progress on LDA uplift projects reviewed
LAHORE: LDA Vice Chairman Mian Marghub Ahmed and DG Tahir Farooq visited Gulshan Ravi and Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project and reviewed the ongoing development works on Tuesday.
During a briefing, LDA project director and the contractor said that the finishing work on the service road of package two was going on. DG gave instructions to restore the flow of traffic. Later, Mian Marghub and Tahir Farooq visited Rachna Block Allama Iqbal Town. LDA DG said that LDA teams were removing construction materials from roads, green belts and strict action is being taken to keep debris outside the building line. Later, LDA Housing, Town Planning and Enforcement teams carried out operations across the city to remove construction materials and debris from as many as 40 properties in Samanabad, Johar Town, Allama Iqbal Town and Adda Plot area. Tahir Farooq informed that LDA teams have so far inspected more than 200 properties. Strict action is being taken for keeping construction materials and debris without SOPs, he added.
