Pakistan U18 volleyball team honoured
LAHORE: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation hosted a ceremony Monday to celebrate the achievements of Pakistan’s under-18 team.
The team’s outstanding performance included winning the bronze medal at the 15th Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship and the Gold Medal at the CAVA U18 Volleyball Championship, securing their qualification for the World Championship.
The ceremony was graced by Justice (R) Safder Saleem Shahid, Chairman of the Medical Tribunal Islamabad, as the Chief Guest, alongside Manzoor Usmani, CEO of Sygnis Pharma. Each player and official associated with the U18 team was awarded a cash prize of Rs100,000 as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Additionally, commemorative shields were presented to every member of the team and officials, recognising their invaluable contributions to the team’s success.
