KPC office bearers mark I-Day event

MIRPUR: Pakistan is the result of the supreme sacrifices of our forefathers under the great struggle and the inspiring dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The people of Kashmir are making the greatest sacrifices shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces of Pakistan for the stability, security and safeguarding the frontiers of the country.

These views were expressed by newly-elected office bearers of the Kashmir Press Club Mirpur on Tuesday to mark the 77th Independence Day celebrations.Apart from a large number of journalists and civil society members participated in the event.

Earlier, a special prayer was offered for the upholding of the ranks of the great martyrs of the valint armed forces of Pakistan who sacrificed their lives for the stability and security of Pakistan. Jashan Azadi cooked food was also served among the participants.

Speakers including President Syed Abid Hussain Shah, Secretary General Raja Sohrab Ahmed Khan and others said that KPC has always played its full and positive role for the success of Kashmir freedom Movement.
