Army clinch gold medals in trap event

KARACHI: Army clinched gold medals in trap event on the second day of the 11th National Clay shooting championship at PN shooting range here on Tuesday.

In the individual category of trap event, Army’s Aamer Iqbal won gold and Zafar ul Haq clinched silver while M Waqas from PAF took bronze medal. In the team category of the event, Army won gold, PAF took silver, and Navy claimed bronze medal.

In the individual category of skeet event, Navy’s Asif Mehmood won gold and Army’s Usman Chand and M Naveed took silver and bronze medals, respectively. In the team category of the event, Navy claimed gold, Army got silver, and Sindh clinched bronze medal.
