CHARSADDA: A police inspector was terminated from service for dereliction of duty and not appearing in court in various cases here on Wednesday.
District Police Officer Masood Bangash took the step after Inspector Bashir Khan did not appear in courts in various cases despite repeated warnings and notices to him.The removed cop was an investigation officer in the jurisdiction of Parang and Nisatta police stations but he would avoid appearing in courts. It may be mentioned that DPO Bangash had recently removed 10 police personnel from service for fleeing a prisoner from the police van.
