15 youths held for violating ban on swimming in sea
The Mauripur police arrested 15 youths for violating a ban on swimming in the sea on Thursday.
According to a press statement from the Karachi commissioner’s office, Keamari Deputy Commissioner Junaid Khan submitted a report to Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi about the enforcement of the ban.
The report said the district administration had implemented effective measures to strictly enforce Section 144. The police arrested 15 individuals from Sunehra Beach and Paradise Point and filed cases against them. Those arrested include Gul Ahmed, Umair, Rehan, Sher Ali, Abid, Ubaid, Asad, Hussain, Dad Muhammad, Muhammad Zahir, Rahman Sheraz, Munir, and Fahad. Commissioner Naqvi has directed the deputy commissioners of the city to ensure strict actions are taken to protect citizens’ lives.
