Expired injections issue: Mayo suspends two storekeepers

LAHORE:About the issue of giving expired injections to cancer patients in Mayo Hospital, Chief Executive Officer of Mayo Hospital Faisal Masood has said that an inquiry is being conducted to investigate the matter.
Two storekeepers involved in this work Shahzad and Sarfaraz have been suspended, Prof Faisal Masood said and added there was no reaction in the patients who received the long-term injections. All these patients have been admitted to the respective wards of the hospital. The reaction did not come out. An inquiry committee has been formed in this regard which will soon submit its recommendations. Action will be taken based on the recommendations of the inquiry committee.
