Man, daughter killed in Swabi shooting

SWABI: A man and his daughter were killed while a younger son sustained injuries when a motorcyclist opened fire on them near the Kala Bridge here on Wednesday.Mohammad Faisal, the injured son of the deceased, told police at the Bacha Khan Medical Complex that they were on their way to the Judicial Complex at Shahmansoor when one of the two men riding a motorbike fired shots at them near Kala Bridge.
He said as a result of the firing, his 22-year-old sister died on the spot while my father Amir Nawas, 55, succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. The cause of the incident was stated to be a family feud.The police said that those nominated in the first information report included Mirwas Khan, Asghar Khan and Bahar Ali.
