Ban on PTI likely to be considered in meeting
ISLAMABAD: An important meeting of the federal cabinet will be held on Wednesday (today) under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A ban on the PTI and the matter of Article 6 on former president Dr. Arif Alvi, PTI founder Imran Khan and former deputy speaker Qasim Suri are also likely to be considered in the meeting, but it was not kept on the regular agenda.
A six-point agenda will be considered in the meeting including summary of visa-free entry for foreign investors, the matter of special courts under the SECP Act, MoU between Pakistan and Denmark and approval for the appointment of Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board.
This appointment has been pending for several months. The summary on increase in the number of members of Privatization Commission will also be presented.
