PESHAWAR: Terrorists attacked a police checkpost in Peshawar resulting in the martyrdom of a police official due to their gunfire.

The terrorists fled the scene after the shooting at the police checkpoint on Sunday.

The local police had initiated a search operation in the area to find terrorists involved in the attack on the checkpost. As per the report, the funeral prayer for the martyred police officer was offered at the police lines.
