‘Steps being taken to provide relief to masses’

GUJRANWALA: On the instructions of the Punjab government, steps are being taken to improve the performance of government departments for providing relief to the people.
These views were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and MPA and Convener of District Monitoring Committee Imran Khalid Butt while speaking at a weekly review meeting of Punjab Chief Minister’s Governance Initiatives. Imran Khalid Butt said that working of all the departments was appreciable to maintain peace during Muharram. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that various steps were being taken for the welfare of the masses. He told that all the government departments had done excellent work this week and overall achieved 95.59pc points out of 100pc.
MPA Rana Akhtar Ali Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioners (General) Shabbir Hussain Butt, GWMC CEO Shahid Abbas and others were also present.
