Safe City reunites disabled boy with parents
LAHORE : The Safe City reunited a 15-year-old mentally disabled boy with his parents.
According to details, the boy identified as Haseeb Rehman had lost his way home.
The Safe City Lost and Found Centre received the report of his disappearance.
The centre shared information about the missing boy on social media and with the police across Punjab.
A citizen from Narowal area reported finding the mentally disabled boy to Emergency 15. The Safe City team immediately directed the police to reach the location.
The police, taking prompt action, took the boy into custody.
After locating the parents and confirming their identity, the police handed over the boy to them.
The spokesperson for Safe Cities stated that the Safe City Lost and Found Centre had reunited over 6,000 people with their families to date.
