2 boys killed as ‘explosive device’ goes off

DAGGAR: Two boys were killed in an explosion in the limits of the Pir Baba Police Station.According to local police and Rescue 1122, the boys - Ali Muhammed, 14, and Fazal Wahab, 14, residents of Jowarai Kandaw village in Elum mountain - stumbled upon an explosive device while cutting grass in the field. As they handled it, the device exploded, causing fatal injuries.
The boys were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital at Daggar, by the police and locals.Police officials confirmed the incident and said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding the blast.They said the exact nature of the explosive device was yet to be determined.
