LAHORE:The first Education and Health City will be launched in the provincial capital soon and these projects will help a lot in the promotion of business activities related to the education and health sectors.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq said this while chairing an important meeting on Thursday. The ongoing development works of Lahore Development Authority City, Structural Plan Roads and Iqbal Sector were reviewed in the meeting.
Lahore Development Authority City’s Project Director Usman Nazar and Director Hafeezullah briefed the meeting. In the meeting, a briefing was given on the proposed plan for Education City spanning over 350 kanals and Health City spanning over 200 kanals.
Lahore Development Authority DG Tahir Farooq directed to handover possession of three more blocks in Lahore Development Authority City. He instructed that the possession of over 1,000 plots in “B, D, and E” blocks of Jinnah Sector should be given within the next two weeks.
He also emphasised that all facilities should be provided for home construction in blocks where plot possession has already been given. LDA DG directed the officials concerned to ensure the recovery from allottees who have not yet paid their development charges.
Additional DG Housing, Additional DG Headquarters, Chief Metropolitan Planning, Chief Town Planner I, Chief Town Planner II, Director LDA City, Project Director LDA City, Director LAC, Deputy Director Finance and relevant officers attended the meeting.
