ISLAMABAD: Defending champion Hamza Khan continued his good work beating Egyptian Marwan Assal in hard fought four-game match to make it to the quarter-finals of the World Junior Squash (Individual) Championship underway in Texas (USA).
Hamza beat Marwan 11-6, 11-8, 10-12, 11-7. He will now meet Joo Young Na of Korea in the quarter-finals. The other survivor Abdullah Nawaz also made it to the quarter-finals where he will face top seed and one of the favourites for the title Mohammad Zakaria of Egypt in the quarter-finals. Abdullah defeated Omar Azam of Egypt 8-11, 11-9, 11-8, 12-10.
