QUETTA: Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) signed an MoU launching the “School Improvement Programme” in Quetta and Harnai districts of Balochistan, a statement said on Wednesday.
Through this agreement, MPCL and PPAF have agreed to form an alliance to embark on interventions in the fields of education, infrastructure, renewable energy and social sector services as identified by local stakeholders and as mutually agreed by MPCL and PPAF, it said.
This pilot project includes rehabilitation of two Government schools, i.e. the Government Girls and Boys School Astangi, MargatQuettaand the Government Girls High School, Harnai. This project will be funded through MPCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget.
