One killed, 4 injured in road mishap
MANSEHRA: One tourist was killed and four others sustained injuries when a van collided head-on with a truck on Hazara Expressway near the Pando Dehri interchange here on Friday.“One of the five injured succumbed to injuries after they were shifted to a nearby health facility,” Amir Khadam, an official of Rescue 1122 told reporters.
The van, carrying a family, was on its way to Kaghan valley from Bahawalnagar when its driver lost control over the steering and it rammed into an upcoming truck.The Rescue 1122 squad along with ambulances reached the spot and shifted the injured to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced Muhammad Assad dead. The other injured were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital in Abbottabad.
Meanwhile, a man killed the owner of his rented house in Pakhwal Chowk here.Mohammad Nazeer had expelled the family of Mohammad Umar from his house which infuriated the latter and he allegedly fired and killed the former.
