No progress in probe of Daily Dawn marketing director killing

KARACHI: No progress has been made so far in the investigation of the assassination of Masood Hamid, Director Marketing, Daily Dawn.
The revolver found in the car of Masood Hamid will be sent for forensic test to a laboratory on Monday. According to the police, they have collected clues, including finger prints, from the crime scene. The report will be collected within a few days so a breakthrough in the investigations can be made.
DSP Police Station Darakhshan Nayyar Hussain said investigations are in progress with all technical and scientific methods. However, the police have not received a statement of the heirs. He said two to three days may be consumed to collect all the facts.
In his office, close companions of Masood Hamid said that he was a diligent and soft-hearted person.
