Over Rs77bn uplift schemes approved

LAHORE:P&D Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan presided over the 4th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) F.Y 2024-25 on Thursday.
A total of 23 development schemes of agriculture and roads sectors at an estimated cost of Rs77.984 billion were approved in the meeting. The approved schemes included CM Punjab Kissan Card at the cost of Rs10 billion, establishment of Model Agriculture Malls in Punjab at the cost of Rs1.250 billion, rehabilitation of different schemes of road sector in Murree, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal , Attock, Jhelum, Khushab, Sargodha, TT Singh, Narowal, Kasur, Pakpattan and Chiniot districts at the cost of Rs67 billion.
