Poet passes away

HARIPUR: Local poet and former general secretary of Anjuman-i-Tarraqi Pasand Musanifeen, Haripur chapter, Asim Qazi passed away due to cardiac arrest, family sources said on Saturday. He was 48.
Family sources said that Asim Qazi suffered a heart attack on Friday evening and he was taken to the Trauma Centre where the doctors pronounced him dead. He was laid to rest in his ancestor’s graveyard in Kahal village. A large number of people, including poets, his colleagues, political and social activists attended his funeral.
