3 held in 8 family members murder case
PESHAWAR: Police have arrested three accused wanted in the killing of eight members of a family in Badaber and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining suspects, a police official said on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Saddar Zaman Khan told reporters that three accused — Roohullah, Farman and Sibghatullah — had been arrested after making raids in Nowshera, Khyber and other districts.
Eight members of a family, including four women and four minors, were killed and another was wounded when armed rivals opened indiscriminate fire inside a house in Badaber on June 25. The assailants escaped after committing the gruesome murder.The attackers are close relatives of the victim’s family and the two parties had a dispute over money and some property.
