PHA vows to facilitate tourists in Murree
Rawalpindi: Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Ahmad Hasan Ranjha Monday visited various parks of Murree and reviewed the facilities provided to the public in terms of quality recreations, says a press release.
According to the spokesperson for the Parks and Horticulture Authority, Ranjha visited different parks of Murree and instructed the officers concerned about the improvement of parks and to ensure better recreational facilities for the tourists. Ranjha said according to the orders of the Punjab government, tourists and local residents were being provided with the best available facilities. The PHA is also ensuring clean drinking water for tourists in Murree, benches for sitting and better lighting arrangements.
He reviewed the arrangements regarding lighting and sitting arrangements and benches on corridors, drinking water and other facilities in the parks and orders were also issued to the concerned authorities to take immediate measures for improvement of facilities. He said the PHA will successfully achieve the target of plantation in Rawalpindi and other districts by ensuring a full-scale plantation drive in the coming monsoon season this year.
