Bid to ‘kidnap’ lady doctor foiled
MANSEHRA: The police on Saturday arrested two alleged fraudsters who had attempted to kidnap a lady doctor impersonating themselves as officials of a spy agency.
“We have arrested two fraudsters who threatened a lady doctor impersonating themselves as officials of a secret agency,” Aurangzeb Khan, the SHO Baffa Police Station, told reporters.
He said that the arrested accused Waqar Shan of the Chinarkot, now settled in the Dub area here, and Rafiullah of Battagram had sent absence messages to a lady doctor on her TikTok account. “They also attempted to kidnap her when she was on her way to Shinkiari, but we took prompt action and arrested both of them and seized the car used in the crime,” Khan said. He added that the accused repeatedly transmitted messages on her account and threatened her to establish relations with them.
