Pak handball teams leave for Kazakhstan today
LAHORE: Pakistan handball youth and junior teams will depart for Kazakhstan on Thursday (today) to feature in the IHF Central Asian’s youth and junior trophy being held from June 22-26 in Almaty. The champions from each region will qualify for the IHF Continental Trophy. Pakistan Handball Federation said that both teams are in good shape and will put in their best.
It said that juniors are undergoing training at the Army Stadium Rawalpindi while youth are training at the Agriculture University, Faisalabad. Youth squad: Nasir Ali, Samiullah, Abbas Ali, Mohammad Hasan, Mohammad Sarmad, Abdullah Zia, Faizan Abbas, Talha Sajid, Mohammad Shahzaib, Mohammad Usman Khan, Ali Raza, Ghulam Mustafa, Mohammad Talha Shafi, Asad Khan, Javed Iqbal (leader), Mohammad Sohail Shehzad (coach), Mohammad Sobaiib (coach).
