I am deeply concerned about the welfare of animals during the upcoming Eidul Azha celebrations. While this festival holds significant religious and cultural importance, it is crucial to remember the importance of compassion and kindness towards all living beings, including animals. Proper handling, transportation, and slaughter methods should be followed to minimize suffering and ensure humane treatment of these creatures.
I urge our communities to prioritize animal welfare by promoting ethical practices such as providing adequate food, water, and shelter for the animals, as well as ensuring that the sacrifice is carried out in a manner that minimizes pain and distress.
