IESCO has issued the list of defaulter government institutions under letter No. 3886-99 dated 7 June 2024
ISLAMABAD: Timely payment of utility bills is definitely indispensable for uninterrupted power supply and timely completion of ongoing projects for system up-gradation.
IESCO has issued the list of defaulter government institutions under letter No. 3886-99 dated 7 June 2024. The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is defaulter of Rs54.86 billion, Ministry of Defence Rs5.29 billion, CDA 4.6 billion, CDA (Pak Secretariat) Rs1.6 billion, CDA (Cabinet Secretariat) Rs116 million, CDA (Chairman Senate) Rs68 million, Cantt Board Chaklala Rs1.64 billion, Cantt Board Rawalpindi Rs256 million, WASA Rs967 million, Ministry of Railways Rs295 million, hospitals under federal government Rs295 million, police Rs260 million, TMA Rawal Town Rs190 million, TMA Murree Rs160 million, Punjab Police Rs135 million, Punjab Jail and Criminal Settlement Rs11.6 million, Ministry of Health Rs55 million GM Hydel Rs6.6 million, Punjab Welfare Department Rs54 million, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Rs51 million, Ministry of Education Rs48 million, TMA Hasan Abdal Rs46 million, FIA Rs32 million, District and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rs28 million, AGE Maintenance (DP) Rs28 million, Ministry of Haj and Auqaf Rs25 million, District Government Rawalpindi Rs24 million, Ministry of Environment Rs23 million, Cantt Board Attock Rs21 million, Islamabad High Court Rs20 million, District Government Rawalpindi Rs190 million, Health District Government Jhelum Rs180 million, TMA Potohar Town Rs180 million, FBR/CBR Rs160 million, District and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Attock Rs160 million, TMA Jhelum Rs150 million, Director General Special Education Rs140 million, Metrological Department Rs120 million, Ministry of Local Government Rs120 million, Intelligence Bureau Rs10 million, NHA 10 million and Sindh House is defaulter of Rs10 million.
The IESCO management has requested the heads of all defaulting government institutions to pay their due electricity bills and to contact the revenue office concerned or commercial directorate of IESCO head office for any information.
