ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Captain (retd) Asadullah Faiz as the Joint Secretary, Religious Affairs Division.
Asadullah Faiz, who was waiting for posting, had previously served in the Punjab government. He had also served as Director Land in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) under then chairman Kamran Lashari.
The services of a BS-20 officer of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) Javed Ali Mehar, currently posted in National Highways and Motorway Police, were placed at the disposal of Balochistan government.
Another BS-19 officer of PSP Muhammad Jawad Tariq, who was serving in Balochistan, has been transferred to the Islamabad Police for further posting.
A BS-19 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Asim Ayub, who was waiting for posting, has been appointed as Joint Secretary at the Establishment Division. Another BS-19 officer of PAS Ali Annan Qamar has been posted as Joint Secretary Planning Division.
Joint Secretary Ministry of National Health Captain (retd) Anwarul Haq has been posted as Coordinator for Anti-Polio Emergency Center.
